Multi-genre, Multi-lingual Vocalist/Musician, Master Teaching Artist, Children's Author, Crafter and Arts in Education-Enrichment Specialist, Arts Integration Trainer/Consultant.
EDUCATION:
BA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Fine Arts, AA in Video/Broadcasting Technology.
EXPERIENCE:
Create and present Essential Knowledge and Skills based, fun, educational and memorable programs for audiences of all ages.
All programs, in-person/on site or asynchronous/remote, are musical, visual and interactive. The majority of the programs and concerts focus on reading and music.
Started as a Professional musician/vocalist, performing artist with USO shows (1970's). Toured with a professional “show” band for 8 years, hosted a television program for 7 years in the DFW area.
Began a career in the "Arts in Education" field in 2001 with the Dallas based non-profit arts organization BIG THOUGHT. Also working with Young Audiences of Northern California and the San Jose Public Library, as well as providing nationwide asynchronous programming for libraries, elementary schools, churches, recreation centers and other family friendly venues.
